About Us

ART B&B is a community business which re-invests profits in arts and community projects. That’s unusual! Yes, it is. We are a CIC (community interest company) which means that any profits benefit the community rather than shareholders which is why our strapline is: ‘Supporting the arts while you sleep’

– but don’t worry, we do pay our dedicated team of hosts and housekeepers.

We also support many other local businesses by sourcing as many of our goods and services as possible from them.

We have a voluntary board of directors who generously give their time and considerable skills to help make it a success.

The development of the project has been supported by a number of public and private funders for which we are eternally grateful.
